Food Rescue & Rural Distribution

Bringing food to people who cannot reach it.

Amerind Soul rescues surplus food from urban grocery partners and delivers it to families and elders in remote rural and tribal communities.

What it is

A rural distribution model with elders in mind.

The flagship work of Amerind Soul is food rescue and rural distribution: Tulsa-area and other urban grocery donors to rural distribution points in southeastern Oklahoma.

Rural elders come first, followed by families and anyone in need. As services consolidate into larger population centers, those in remote areas, especially elders, are left behind.

How it works

Hub and spoke, city to rural community.

Amerind Soul is building a practical hub-and-spoke food rescue route: surplus food is gathered from urban grocery partners, transported safely, and delivered to rural distribution points closer to the people who need it.

The work is rooted in years of informal food distribution from the 10-acre homestead. Formal tracking is beginning now as Amerind Soul grows the model with care and accountability.
