Attributes of Benevolence

Extending a hand because we should.

A Native-owned nonprofit rooted in Oklahoma Indian Country, serving rural and tribal communities through food rescue, distribution, and direct support.

Where this began

It started with a cabin in 2020, and the loss of a brother.

Amerind Soul grew from a rural homestead in Atoka County, Oklahoma, where food, clothing, documentation help, and shelter were offered long before there was a formal organization.

Who we serve

What we do

Two active programs, both rooted in direct service.

Amerind Soul is formalizing work that has been done informally for years: getting food to people who cannot reach it and helping rural communities shape practical development plans.

Grounded in experience

This work is not theoretical. It is built on years of doing it.

Before Amerind Soul had a name, Jenni was distributing food from a 10-acre homestead in Atoka County and helping people navigate documentation, recovery placement, and reconnection with tribal heritage.

Before the homestead chapter, nearly two decades of opening her own home shaped the plain-spoken, hands-on character of this work. That history is not a duplicatable model. It is lived experience.
